Ok. This is the last thing I will say about spam but I just have to get this out! I decided last night that the thing to do was add each spam message to my blocked addresses file. After about 10 emails, a half an hour or so, I had already gotten 3 or 4 new spams while I was doing this!

I came to the conclusion that the time it would take to do that wasn’t worth it. I will just go back to deleting pages at once. It looks like spam is something we have to live with, huh?

Ugh.

How is everyone on this fine Thursday? We had a storm last night that was fiercely wicked! But today it looks like the sun is coming out. That’s Texas for you.

Everywhere I look these days, most especially on the weekend, I see teenagers standing on the side of the road in front of certain businesses, holding signs and yelling at cars to come get a free car wash as a way to raise funds for their school, club, church, etc.

That sure does seem like a lot of work, and that’s not even including the actual washing of the cars! There are much easier and more profitable ways to raise funds for your organization.

I am sooo sick of SPAM! And you bloggers out there, well, heck, all of the people who get email, not just bloggers, know exactly the kind of spam I am talking about.

But yesterday one of my spammers outdid themselves. She/He/It created the subject of the email to say, “Regarding our talk.” Why that particular phrase got to me is really odd, except that maybe it felt so much like a bald-faced lie, that I was furious.

Even though I have my spam filter on all the time you would not believe the number I still receive. Wait! Maybe you WOULD believe it!

But what can we do about it? Got any suggestions? I am SO tired of wasting time deleting these unwelcome and unwanted messages.

If you are heading out for parts unknown, bloggers, in the coming months, have you considered the fact that to rent a car actually may turn out to be a better deal in the long run than using your own vehicle? There is a site called Advantage and if your will check out their specials and discounts I am sure you will agree that renting a car could very possibly be the best option.

If you will notice, the ads showing up for Adsense on my site today are for drugs and pharmacies. At no time in the recent past have I talked about these subjects here. I noticed a few days ago that the same thing was happening, the subject matter of the ads not matching the content of my blog.

Is your Adsense doing that? And what can be done about it, if anything?
