I Can’t Believe It’s Almost Christmas!
It is strange, having Christmas on a Monday. I haven’t wrapped my brain around the fact that day after tomorrow is Christmas Eve. It is going to be a serene but happy Christmas at my place, but that is ok. I wish my son and his family were here, but they were here for Thanksgiving, so I can’t complain.
A cool thing about the apartment we live in is that there is a mansion across the street, (believe me when I say that doesn’t mean we are rich, there are homeless people walking down the side street. This is East Dallas, a very, let’s say, eclectic neighborhood) and every year the rich people in the mansion have the whole place decorated, trees too, with white Christmas lights. So when I look out my kitchen window, it’s like looking at a beautiful picture.
