Working Toward a PR5
Since the new segmentation that was implemented when PayPerPost did their recent rollout I keep seeing some really big money opps for blogs that have a PR 6 or 7. I am a 4 right now, so I figure the only thing to do is keep working on my traffic and building good backlinks to move myself up to a five, and then a 6, and then, praise the Lord and pass the ammunition, someday maybe even a seven.
Yeah, I dream big, but why shouldn’t I? Why shouldn’t we all strive for the highest goals? And blog marketing is here to stay. There are several companies I blog for, and I love it that I can make my living doing this. I am my own boss, and that’s really important to me.
Although, I must say , I was really surprised to learn that PPP only charges a 35% service fee, as opposed to Review Me–who by the way I got approved with but have never received an opp–that has a 100% markup.
And PPP is not just for the big PR bloggers either. There are opps for newer bloggers. Once you are approved and start taking opps, those big fish are a really great incentive to build a high quality, high traffic blog. And though PPP requires disclosure, I have no problem with that. I am not ashamed to say that I make my living advertising products and services to put food on the table.
With PPP everybody wins.
