Eight Things You Don’t Know About Me

I have been tagged by homemom 3 to tell you eight things you don’t know about me. Argh! I have been thinking about this for several days, trying to decide what there is that I want to divulge. I am a pretty private person when it comes to the Internet. I became that way after being stalked and harassed by a troll on a writer’s forum, so spilling my personal beans is not something I care to do. However, there are some things that aren’t THAT personal that I can share. Here we go.

1. My first name is Karen and was the name I went by until I was in the 4th grade, when I decided that I was a Denise.

2. I broke my pelvis in a car wreck when I was in high school and was in the hospital, traction, for 3 months, then walked on crutches for 6 months.
3. I didn’t meet my real mother until that wreck happened and she came to visit me.

4. I once tried to make soup out of leftover meatloaf. It was a disaster, but I still tried to get everyone to eat it.

5. I won a bookkeeping contest when I was in Vocational Office Education my junior year of high school.

6. I am extremely claustrophobic. My second stepmother locked me in a closet when I was about 5 and that has caused me a terrible time with being in tight spaces or spaces I can’t get out of.

7. I am very ticklish.

8. I go barefoot as much as possible.

So there you are! Things you didn’t know about me.

Oops! I forgot that I was supposed to tag 5 other people. Here goes:

ewww stalked online is pretty scary. I too am a barefoot girl, probably why my heels look so bad. :( Claustrophobic here too, maybe because of a drowning at age 1-3. I don’t recall it but my parents told me about it growing up. Hate water, heights and small spaces.

Congrats on that bookkeeping contest.

BTW- who are you tagging? (5 people)
