Directories–List Your Blog for Free
We all know of social networking sites that let you list your blog and hob knob with bloggers who have similar interest. But I went searching this weekend for directories that let you list your blog for free. I believe you get a lot more search engine juice and Google attention from directories as opposed to typical networking sites. Especially if you consider yourself a business blogger, you need to find directories to list yourself in. But many directories charge for their listings.
Here are four sites with directories where you can add your blog for free:
The Truth Laid Bear -they even have a function that goes hand in hand with Site Meter to give your readers access to your stats.
PRNN Top 100 Bloggers–also offers a free press release distribution service
Globe of Blogs–blogs from around the world.
Business Blog Directory–strictly for business blogs, but there seems to be some lead way. I saw one entry under humor.
