Bee Balms & Burgundy
What more appropriate time than National Breast Cancer Awareness month to tell you about the great new book by Nelson Pahl? Called, “Indie Lit’s Most Intriguing Writer” by Indie Nation Magazine, Nelson has written a prize winning novella called Bee Balms & Burgundy. The novella, which is about a 30-year-old post-mastecomy breast cancer survivor named Mia, won the coveted Bronte Prize.
The story is about Mia’s secret love for her childhood neighbor and lifelong buddy Nicky. Nicky returns to their hometown for the weekend and he and Mia become reacquainted after not seeing each other for two years.
