PART-TIME WEB CONTENT WRITER NEEDED
Position Objective:
* Support the Content Team’s efforts to generate quality, informative
content for a number of Web sites dealing with: Finance, Adult Education,
Children’s Education, Home Improvement/Services, and more.
Position Details:
* Work from home and create your own schedule, submitting work online
* Must commit to 15 hours per week. Please don’t respond if you have any
hesitation regarding hours or pay.
* Pay Scale
0-3 Months: $8/hr (or Prevailing Minimum Wage)
3-6 Months: $9/hr
6+ Months: $10/hr with opportunity of becoming an editor
Responsibilities:
* Generate well written, timely, informative content for our Web pages
* Format articles using Wiki
* Edit your own work and the work of others
Education and Experience:
* Some college experience within a writing-related field, such as English
or Journalism.
* Freelance writing experience preferred.
* Basic understanding of the Internet.
Required Skills:
* Strong writing, grammatical, and editing skills a must
* Must be able to follow instructions and meet deadlines
* Knowledge of AP style a plus, but not required.
* Familiarity with Wiki a plus, but not required
* Must be self-disciplined/able to work well from home
* Must be detail-oriented, with excellent organizational skills
