Net Audio Ads
I have seen a lot of talk lately about playing ads on your website or blog. I am still not sure how I feel about this. On one hand, it does sound like an easy way to monetize your site using a program like Net Audio Ads, where you get paid just for letting a 5 second commercial play on your site. But on the other hand, I wonder how my readers would feel. Would they feel that the ads were an interruption, or would they mind?
In favor of Net Audio Ads, they ARE backed by one of the BIG 5 search engines and you get an amazing 100% conversion rate. 108 million sites have joined thus far. Another attractive feature is that this monetizing system has a very lucrative affiliate program. However, if you are interested, you need to sign up now for the program will cease come February 1, 2008. After that it will convert to a “Host Only” model, meaning you will only make revenue from the ads placed on your own site. ANY SITE THAT SIGNS UP NOW FOR THE AFFILIATE PROGRAM CAN CONTINUE TO PARTICIPATE & SHARE IN AFFILIATE REVENUE AFTER FEBRUARY 1, 2008.
The affiliate programs works on Tiers:
Tier 1 - Get paid for ads on your site. And/or
Tier 2 - Get paid on ads served on the websites of those that you personally refer, and
Tier 3: Get paid on ads served on the websites of those that your direct referrals refer.

Things are beginning to roll now. Although its been a bumpy startup, soon this will be a viable and popular program. I would encourage anyone on the fence to join because there is no risk and the opportunity to become a ‘core member’ will not last forever.
