Lifelock Nominated for Webby Best Service Award
I have mentioned the great company, lifelock here on Freelancing Journey before. They are the company that has come up with the great security program that reports to police the instant someone tries to use your identity.
Lifelock is a Godsend, in my opinion. Just knowing that the minute someone tries to pass themselves off as you they police will be notified and the person arrested on the spot makes life much much safer and enjoyable.
This wonderful company, one that has been nominated for the 12th Annual Webby Awards for Service, is looking for good people to join their team. What a cool job that would be! Helping your fellow man feel safer in our dangerous world.
Here are just a few tidbits from an April press release about the Webby Award nomination for Lifelock and what they Webby Awards are all about. What a great honor for Lifelock. But they deserve it.
Hailed as the “Oscars of the Internet” by the New York Times, The Webby Awards is the leading international award honoring excellence on the Internet, including Websites, interactive advertising, online film and video, and mobile Websites. The Webby Awards is presented by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, a 550-person judging academy whose members include Internet co-inventor Vinton Cerf, R/GA’s Chief Bob Greenberg, “Simpson’s” creator Matt Groening, Arianna Huffington, and Harvey Weinstein.
“The Webby Awards honors the outstanding Websites that are setting the standards for the Internet,” said David-Michel Davies, executive director of The Webby Awards. “LifeLock’s Webby Award nomination is a testament to the skill, ingenuity, and vision of its creators.”
