Can’t ANYONE Spell Anymore??
I have had it. Today was the last straw. For about the fourth time this week I have seen spelling errors on major websites. I am talking business websites!
What the heck is going on? I told my roommate that I think this unspellability comes from being online all the time, using abbreviated words and phrases. U no wat I meen?
Now I could understand if the spelling errors were on some kid’s MySpace page, but people, come on! Talent does NOT have two L’s!
End of rant.
But seriously….
De La Hoya and Mayweather–Let’s Do it Again?
If you are a faithful reader, then you remember me posting a year ago about the boxing match between Oscar De La Hoya and Floyd Mayweather. That fight broke all PPV records last May in Las Vegas. (You also know what a big boxing fan I am, and the story of how my love for boxing got started.
That’s why I am thrilled to hear rumblings that Oscar De La Hoya, who was supposed to have a fight in May is backing off those plans. The Golden Boy is said to have changed his mind because he’d rather have a rematch with Mayweather!
For those of you who aren’t familiar with Floyd Mayweather, he was the dancing whiz on Dancing with the Stars last season. Man, that guy can shake a leg! And in the ring, too!
If you are like me and would give just about anything to see this boxing match, I have got really good news! You can get De La Hoya vs Mayweather tickets at Team One Tickets.
Oh! And it looks like now that this is not just rumor. Golden Boy Promotions’ CEO Richard Schaefer told ESPN that the bout is “almost finalized” for September 13 or September 20.

What Email Marketing Software To Use?
In my research about affiliate marketing I quickly learned that the majority of online marketers use email marketing software campaigns to boost their traffic and hopefully their sales.

Confessions of a Former Forum Troublemaker
I have signed up with a couple of affiliates and they are adamant that you should have a Squidoo page, a Facebook presence, Hub Pages, and be active on other social networking sites and in forums revolving around your niche.
Now I like to make money as much as the next gal, but I wish I could change my attitude toward social networking. Maybe my negative view of this comes from back when I hung out all the time at Writer’s Net and Absolute Write. I was a newbie for sure, and I found myself getting into spats with trolls. I seem to have this Superwoman complex which leads me to always be fighting the bad guys, taking up for the underdog, arguing over principles. I grew up in the late 60s and early 70s. That should tell you all you need to know, but if you don’t understand what I am referring to, let’s just say I grew up dreaming of Utopia, of a future where everyone was free, and social justice was the norm, God bless JFK, Martin Luther King, Jr, Robert Kennedy, and every peace loving hippie I ever knew!
Long story short, I ended up with a female stalker. She followed me from WN to AW. It was pretty darned scary. She threatened to come to Texas and kick my butt.
That was four years ago. You’d think I’d have gotten over it. Then I started hanging out at PPP forums after I started blogging for them. There I went again, not knowing when to keep my mouth, or my fingers, in this case, shut. The cult of posties over there don’t like me very much, needless to say.
Now I am getting truly serious about online business and I know that I must present a professional online demeanor at all times. I will be representing some very respected companies after all.

I can’t remember how I learned about it, honestly. I have been doing a LOT of research over the last week or so and I came across it in my travels along the information superhighway. I love the internet more and more everyday, all except the spam. I hate spam.
Anyway, be sure to check this place out. You will be amazed and excited. That’s all I can say right now. When something is REALLY great I am left speechless. This is one of those times.
