Thanks, Darren.

For Copywriters and Aspiring Copywriters

Below is a really great article by copywriter Paula Cambridge. Read and learn!

Website Copywriting: The Power to Sell

To date there are more than 100 million websites on the Internet craving for everyone’s attention; most of which, are trying to sell something. If a website is failing to attract enough traffic in the colossal marketplace despite of the product it sells and its impressive animation, it is most likely because the website committed the most grievous mistake one can commit on web marketing.

Many don’t become successful on marketing their product on the web simply because they failed to recognize that ultimately it’s the written word that will grab attention and create the sales. Website copywriting is a fulfilling and challenging profession because those who choose to follow this career path have to draw attention and have to inspire action from Netizens. Web copywriters are basically entrusted to bring high traffic and to increase sales.

Stark Museum in Orange, Texas

I am pretty confident, even with the price of gas through the ceiling right now, that there are plenty of people who will be heading out for a fun weekend when Memorial Day gets here at the end of this month.

If you are one of those folks have you ever considered visiting Orange, Texas, home of the world famous Stark Museum of Art?

At the Stark Museum of Art you can explore, as the creators so proudly have, the art of the American West. That picture above is just a preview of what you will see. There you also will find collections of Western Art, American Indian Art, and even Decorative Arts. You will even find Rare Books and Manuscripts from famous and not so famous authors. Who knows? You may get to say that you have actually seen the writing of some very famous authors during your visit.

The Stark Foundation has made it their business to offer the greatest museum experience of your life. Be sure and visit the website of the Stark Museum of Art, and while you are there, check out all the other fun and interesting things there are to do in Orange, Texas! It is so often the fact that when you visit a town like this, one that is off the beaten path, you will discover treasures and entertainment that few people know about. You will also be able to avoid being bombarded by the hoards of other vacationers that go to the most popular destinations.

And I can tell you for a fact that your visit to Orange, Texas will have you meeting new friends. I can say from experience that this is a fact, been there, done that. Also, as a native Texan I can attest to the fact that you will be made to feel right at home. After all, that’s what we are famous for! (Except cows and G.W..sorry!)

Now what are you waiting for? Get busy making plans! Memorial Day is May 26th and that is only a week from this coming Monday!

Come back and tell me about your experience, please. I would love to hear all about your visit to Orange, Texas and the Stark Museum of Art.

More about Spam…

Ok. This is the last thing I will say about spam but I just have to get this out! I decided last night that the thing to do was add each spam message to my blocked addresses file. After about 10 emails, a half an hour or so, I had already gotten 3 or 4 new spams while I was doing this!

I came to the conclusion that the time it would take to do that wasn’t worth it. I will just go back to deleting pages at once. It looks like spam is something we have to live with, huh?

Ugh. :(

Heads Up, Info Techs and Business Folks!

How is everyone on this fine Thursday? We had a storm last night that was fiercely wicked! But today it looks like the sun is coming out. That’s Texas for you.

However, I didn’t come here to talk about the weather. I am posting to tell you about a website I discovered for information techs and business people, business owners but especially consumers, like me and you.

The site is called Wiredred Wiredred provides web and video conferencing software and online services for business customers.

You can quickly and easily learn the things you need to know about new products, how they work, and compatible PC audio and video devices such as webcams, video cameras, and headsets.

I don’t know about you but I need all the help I can get understanding new technology and gadgets. It is a great relief to find that the answers are a click away at Wirered.

To Market to Market!

I was reading All Freelance Writing’s blog yesterday and discovered that Jeannie has a section on her blog called Writer’s Guidelines.Com. If you are a writer you should really check out the great list of links she offers her readers.

There are online markets, magazine markets, media markets and more. Here is the link. Happy Hunting, and thank you, All Freelance Writing! You have a wonderful resource in your blog and in these listings.

Need a Successful Fundraising Idea?

Everywhere I look these days, most especially on the weekend, I see teenagers standing on the side of the road in front of certain businesses, holding signs and yelling at cars to come get a free car wash as a way to raise funds for their school, club, church, etc.

That sure does seem like a lot of work, and that’s not even including the actual washing of the cars! There are much easier and more profitable ways to raise funds for your organization.

ARC Marketing’s car magnets and Silicone Bracelets are America’s favorite fundraising items. Take advantage of these popular items. Let ARC’s expert designers help you with your design.

ARC’s site is easy to navigate and ordering is quick and easy. Think about it.
