About This Blog And Its Focus
I have said it on my other two blogs and I will say it here. I have made a new commitment to all three of my blogs that from now on any sponsored posts will be at least in the ballpark of what the subject matter of the blog is about, or be of extreme interest to people who read the blog. I am tired of talking about cosmetic surgery and car dealers and I feel cheesy doing it on my niche blogs that have nothing to do with either one. The ads you see prior to this post are posts I was already obligated to do. And I fulfill my obligations.
As you can see I have monetized this site with Google Adsense. But as you can also see, many of the ads are about binoculars. Why? Because I did a frigging paid post a few days ago about binoculars. Now who reading an entertainment blogs cares about binoculars? Not many people I know. But Google places ads at random based on the subject matter so it’s my own fault.
I am in this blogging thing for the long hall and plan to make all three of my blogs successful. Since I have changed to Adsense friendly, affiliate friendly themes my traffic on this blog and my freelancing blog has tripled in less than a month. But that is also because I started working on providing what I believe is more interesting content and doing social networking a few weeks ago. As I said at Web Reporter, I don’t know how to do business any other way but to put everything I have into it. I have been guilty of not giving my blogs my all, paying lip service to my content, but no more. This is a brand new day.
