Comedian George Carlin Dies at 71
I was so sad to read it. At the still young age of 71 George Carlin finally bit the dust. He had a long history of heart trouble and the old ticker gave up on him at last.
That is a really good story from Yahoo News about his career. Man, I was in my twenties when he was just hitting his career sweet spot. I loved it that he didn’t give a DAMN what anybody thought of him and made himself rich and famous for that very attribute.
George, if there is a heaven you are smoking a cigar and sharing a laugh with the likes of Lenny Bruce and Red Skelton.
