Prisoner’s Last Meal Pizza for Homeless
I got chill bumps when I read this article at CNN.Com. Tennessee inmate Philip Workman was convicted of killing Memphis Police Lt. Ronald Oliver in 1981. He was killed by lethal injection today. His request for a last meal was that a vegetarian pizza be delivered to a homeless person in Nashville.
Maybe prisoners find spirituality and compassion only when the last bell tolls, but it’s better than not finding it at all. Rest in peace, Philip Workman.
