Mike Wallace on the 2008 Elections
I was watching Regis and Kelly this morning and one of their guest was the well known newscaster Mike Wallace. I loved what he had to say about the politics of our country. He said that the elections in 2008 will be the first time since 1928 that we have not had a president rerunning or a vice president running. In other words, the first time in 80 years that it is an open playing field. He also said that this is the first time that there is a real possibility of a black or female president being elected.
