Scary, Scary!
I love, love, love scary stories and also scary movies. The scariest story I ever heard was back when I was just a kid, the kind of story you tell around a campfire. I was the one who told it to my friends. I can’t remember who told it to me first. Heck, knowing me I might have made it up. It was called “Bloody Bones and Popsicle Sticks” and it was about a skeleton that was in the closet. Now that I think about it, that’s pretty subliminal thinking for a 10 year old! Anyway, what made the story so scary was the WAY it was told, the voice, the lead up to the big finale when you jumped at your listeners, who you had sitting on the edge of their seats. Don’t ask me what the popsicle sticks were about, because I couldn’t tell you! Although I will tell you that there is a movie out called 1408. The 1408 Movie is based on the short story by Stephen King of the same name. It is about room number 1408 in the Dolphin Hotel. King is THE king of the scary story, as we all know.
