The Police are Back!
Have you heard about the new police cd? It is a compilation of all their best songs and I am fired up about it. I have absolutely got to have this CD. Nowhere else have I seen this many great songs by The Police in one place. If I had to chose a favorite song, which is very hard because there are so many that I like, it would probably be ROXANNE. There is just something so deep and true about that song, almost like a warning it felt to me, because even though I was not a hooker, I was sure wild enough to glean a positive message from the song about not sharing your body with men who don’t care about you. There are so many other songs I love that are on this new police cd and I can’t wait to hear it over and over.
And even more good news is that The Police are going on tour. That rocks. I saw them once and it was right up there with the best concerts I have ever been to. I consider Sting one of the sexiest, most talented singers of our time, and he’s brilliant too. I went to the concert with 5 other women. We were all married so it was a girl’s night out and it was a hell of a lot of fun. When ROXANNE started playing, we were all on the grass, dancing.
