Halloween the Movie
I LOVE scary movies! I like nothing better than setting on the edge of my seat, waiting for the boogie man to show up and scare the bejesus out of me. Some of my favorites scary movies are “The Exorcist”, I was pregnant when we went to see that one and almost went into labor, I got so scared! Then there is the “Texas Chain Saw Massacre.” Being from Texas and the fact that it was based on true events really made this one double scary. And I loved “Friday the 13th,” and “Nightmare on Elm Street.”
But my all time favorite scary movies are the older ones that some of you may not remember, like “Hush, Hush, Sweet Charlotte” with Bette Davis and “Straight Jacket” with Joan Crawford. Whoa, those were some psycho movies, for sure.
I always liked the Halloween movies that starred Jamie Lee Curtis too. And word on the street is that Rob Zombie has made a new Halloween movie. I wonder what angle he’ll come at this from. Will Halloween the movie in Zombie’s vision be a continuation of Jason’s story? I am excited about this and eager to see Halloween the movie, which will be released on August 31st, a great way to end the summertime blues, with a blood curdling scary movie.
