Man Kills Mountain Lion

What else what this guy supposed to do? But wildlife officials in Boulder, Colorado are considering whether to recommend charges against him. He shot a mountain lion that was attacking a puppy.

At least two other mountain lion attacks have been reported in the Boulder area in the past month, including the September second death of a pet miniature horse named Bodacious in the Nederland area southwest of Boulder and the death of a 60-pound Australian shepherd in Nederland on Sept. 27.

Sounds like the mountain lions are trying to take back their former territory?
