USB Temperature Sensor
This Temperature@lert USB temperature sensor is something many of you may be interested in, especially with the holidays coming. What this sensor does is send you an email alarm if the ambient temperature where it is placed climbs above or falls below the range you set it at.
The sensor was designed to alert a network administrator if the air conditioner in a server room fails. But there are other ways you could put this sensor to use, such as placing it in a a plastic bag and using it to monitor an aquarium’s temperature, or attaching it to your computer to find the hot spots. I bet you can think of other uses too. One that comes to mind for me is to place it on your Christmas tree to make sure the lights don’t overheat.
