I am watching The Golden Girls this morning and it occurred to me that Estelle Getty, the actress who plays Sophia, Dorothy’s mother, is one of the funniest and most versatile actors in show business. Her longevity in her career is proof positive that age has not been a roadblock for Ms. Getty, and I wanted to give kudos to her for her wit, great attitude and perseverance.
