Many of you are already putting your Christmas trees and decorating your homes for the holidays. But were you aware that by using LED mini lights instead of standard incandescent lights can save you money and keep yourself and your family much safer this holiday season?
Standard incandescent lights are outdated, inefficient, costly, and bad for the environment, but with LED Christmas lights you will only use 1/10th the energy. They last for more than 50,000 hours compared to less than 2000 hours that standard incandescents lights last. LED Christmas lights are also much safer. They create very little heat–only i degree above ambient temperature. LED holiday lights are durable. They are constructed of a nearly indestructible epoxy plastic and contain no fragile filament or glass like incandescents.
And if you are environmentally conscious, here is a fact that should forever change your mind about using standard light again. A recent EPA report determine that if 20% of American homes switched to LED Christmas lights during the average 30 day holiday season it would save 400GWh of electricity.
