Do You Know Someone with a Drug or Alcohol Problem?
One of the biggest problems in American society today is addiction. It seems almost everyone has some form of addiction, whether it be to drugs, alcohol, shopping, sex, food, and even to people. I just finished reading a book called “Co-Dependent No More, How to Stop Controlling Others and Care for Yourself” because of my dependency on other people to make me happy.
But one of the most heartbreaking addictions of all is addiction to drugs. I have seen so many people who are addicted to crack since I moved to Dallas that it boggles the mind. I wonder if some of these people would, if they could afford it, go into drug rehab. I like the fact that the trend toward seeking help is no longer reserved for the rich and famous. Drug rehab is affordable if someone really wants help with a drug or alcohol problem.
