Evel Knievel Dies at 69

Known and recognized by the Smithsonian Institute as “America’s Legendary Daredevil” Evil Knievel died yesterday at his home at the age of 69.

I always loved watching him do his stunts. He was best known for a failed attempt to jump an Idaho canyon on a rocket-powered cycle and a spectacular crash at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas. He suffered nearly 40 broken bones before he retired in 1980.

Have fun jumping cars in heaven, Evel!
