Wonderful Wine!

I had a package delivered a few weeks ago that is one of the nicest gifts I have ever received. It was from Gold Medal Wine and contained two bottles of wine, one red and one white, beautifully wrapped in fancy paper with ribbons. There was a really classy gift card accompanying the wine and a newsletter, The Wine Press, which I really enjoyed reading before I ever
opened the wine. Inside the newsletter it tells of Gold Medal’s great ideas for gifts you can send someone you care about , like a membership to the wine of the month club. Also, there was the greatest recipe for Rosemary Chicken in there. And I enjoyed reading tidbits of historical and interesting facts about wine.
I opened the bottle of red that night. I love red wine and this was one of the most delicious red wines I had ever had. It is a Zinfandel 2004 from Bradford Mountain’s Grist Vineyard. It had a bit of a smoky taste to it that really gave it a nice touch. A few days later I opened the white wine, a 2005 Belvedere Premium River Valley Chardonnay. I usually don’t care much for white wine but this was very good! It wasn’t too sweet nor too dry.
If you want to send a very beautiful and delicious gift to the wine lover in your life I highly recommend the wine from Gold Medal. The whole experience, from receiving this beautiful package, reading the newsletter, the nice gift card and the wonderful wine will make them know how special they are to you.
