Dan Folgeberg Dies at 56
Dan Folgerberg was best known for his song “Leader of the Band.” Dan died Sunday at his home with his wife, Jean, by his side. He was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2004 but the cancer was treated and went into remission. However, as happens, it came back.
I am sad to hear of this great singer, songwriter dying so young. I have a lot of wonderful memories of listening to his soft rock songs in the 70s and 80s.
