Do You Know about COMPETE?
There is a site I discovered yesterday that is taking the internet to a whole new level of competition between websites and blogs for traffic. I don’t know if that’s a good thing or not. But I guess it’s not for me to decide.
Whatever its purpose, Compete, on the level of tools to track your sites performance in the marketplace, I haven’t seen any metrics system that can “compete” if you will. You can instantly see how many visitors your site or anyone else’s site has had. There is a scale of the performance of the site over several months, and it even tells you how much the site has shrunk or grown in traffic over this time last year.
Check it out. I have a feeling Compete is not going anywhere anytime soon. They also have a blog. You will want to read up on that too.
