My Thoughts on Computer Memory

My sister and I were talking today about her new computer. She didn’t understand the importance of memory. Personally I think that computer memory is very important when purchasing a computer. I love taking pictures, playing games and listening to music. You need a lot of computer memory in order to have these things.

You don’t want to over exceed your computer’s memory with too much. Pictures, games, and music are different ways of over-exceeding the computer memory limitations.

My sister is hard headed hopefully I will be able to make understand all this.

Great Website for Allergy Sufferers

One of my roommates is having a horrible time with her allergies, so she and I got on my computer last night and searched for some healthy relief, rather than drugs.

We found a company in Austin, Texas called Allergy Buyers Club Shopping. Wow, they have SO much information on allergies. She plans to order an Austin Air air purifiers which will definitely help her with her allergies, while making her a environmentally conscious consumer.

Summer Vacation

Where are you headed for vacation this summer? I am staying at home, there will be no vacation for me this year. I took almost three months off to get some rest and get my head together, get sober, and now all I find myself wanting to do is work online!

For those of you who ARE taking a vacation, join the crowds of people who chose Orlando vacations and visit Disney World!

I Love Furniture!

My roommate and I were out shopping yesterday and we saw some of the most beautiful coffee tables on clearance at a local furniture store. I SO need a new coffee table but I decided I better wait until I find a new apartment. I cannot WAIT to decorate, it’s my favorite thing to do.

Is everyone having a good Memorial Day weekend? I am.

Bail Bondsmen Article for $10

Bail Bondsmen: Friend or Foe?

One of the last people the average citizen hopes to get to know in professional capacity is a bail bondsman. We cringe at the thought of enlisting his services, because doing so signifies only one thing: trouble. And though the majority of us won’t be adding jail bird to our resumes, heaven forbid the time come that a family member or close friend is arrested. For unless we’re wealthy, the bail bondsman will be the first person we call.

Review of “Lord I Want to Be Whole”

When I saw the name of this blog I thought to myself, “Oh, man, not another holy roller!” But I was pleasantly surprised by the rich content of this personal blog, “Lord I Want to Be Whole.” I found myself continuing to read post after post. There is a lot of inspiration there from someone who has overcome much in life, depression being one of them. I could really relate, and left feeling motivated and peaceful.

The great thing about this blog is that, though there is talk about God, it is not crammed down your throat and you can envision whatever idea of God that you chose and still take a lot away from it.

The only thing I can find wrong is that the Amazon widget is slowing down the loading time. Otherwise, nice blog.

Review of “Pointless Banter”

Wow! I can’t believe I actually get to review a blog that has been featured on CNN.

Pointless Banteris hilarious. A little ribald, but I like ribald. There is nothing bad I can say about this blog, in fact, the blogger looks to be a lot more knowledgeable about their stuff than I am.

Check this one out. Funny, interesting content, a clean, crisp layout, easy navigation, all the things that make a great blog.

The Best Acne Treatment

I have talked here before about the nightmare that was my high school experience due to acne. I wish I had grown up in this day and time where kids can find the best acne treatment at sites like AC Nexus. They don’t have to worry as much about acne as when I was young because the treatment they get works!

Review of “Far Blaze”

This is a review of Farlin Paulino’s blog, “Far Blaze.”

My first impression of 17-year-old Farlin’s blog when I clicked on the link was that it was clean and calming. I like the font used for the name of the blog though I have no idea why it is called Far Blaze. I did like the emblem at the top. But maybe Farlin should have explained somewhere the reason for the name of his blog.

Farlin Paulino did a decent job of providing information about himself in the “About Me” section. BUT, I highly suggest, since he presents himself as a writer, that he edit his grammar and punctuation in that section.

Now, about “The Project.” I read several entries and I hate to say it but I really couldn’t get into the story. Maybe I would if I started at the beginning. But this could be all about me because I don’t care for reading fiction online. However, I do applaud the efforts of this handsome young writer and wish him all the best.

I especially enjoyed the photographs. Very nice, and it lets the reader get to know Farlin on a more personal basis with pictures of him and his friends.

I also enjoyed his sense of humor, especially the warnings about drinking. Very funny stuff, Farlin.

Review of “William Payton’s Blog”

This is a review of William Payton’s Blog.

First I would like to point out the positive things about this blog since they are so few things I can find right about it.

The blog loads fast and the image at the top is nice, very peaceful.

Now, for the rest.

1. Why is it called “William Payton’s Blog?” Are you famous, William? Should we know you by name, or do you have a lot of friends and/or family who log on to read what you have to say? If not I see no real reason to have given your blog your own name. A blog should have a purpose, a focus, a theme, and everything it contains should be in relationship to the blog, which brings me to my next point.

2. It looks to me like this blog is basically being used to get people to check out resell rights. There are seven posts on the page and two are personal, one about the weather and one saying goodnight in the middle of the afternoon.

This is the total content of one post, “Limited Number Of Master Reprint Rights Now Available To “Blog & Ping Automator”!, (by the way, the comma goes inside the parenthesis) and you cannot click on the title, nor is there a link to what you are selling in the post. Same thing with this post:

“Own Your Risk Free Business

Here’s what you get when you order the resale rights package…

* The rights to sell Blog & Ping Automator at any price you want over $ 97
* You can sell unlimited copies, and keep 100% of the Profit.
* A certificate Proving your right to re-sell Blog & Ping Automator
* Free updates to Blog & Ping Automator software forever, and resale rights to the updates as well.
* You will receive all the sources we use to bring traffic to our sites to sell our Products on the internet, and all the new sources as we come across them.
* Your own copy of Blog & Ping Automator to read for your own use or to sell memberships to
* A copy of Blog & Ping Automator web site’s Proven sales letter, all the graphics, and thank you pages so you can upload them to your web space and be reselling the software in minutes after your purchase.”

What good is it doing to try and sell this stuff if the reader can’t find what you are selling? (The information is in another post, but if a post were found by a search engine, chances are the reader wouldn’t bother checking out the rest of the blog. They’d find the information they needed somewhere else.)

Also, if you are going to plug something you could at least make the post before the sales pitch post and after it longer and at least interesting. OR maybe this blog is all about Google? I’m frankly lost.

3. Where are the archives? The first thing I want to know when visiting a new blog is how long its been around. I cannot find this information. And why is there a link to Google News?

4. The ABOUT section says, “Later OK!” How much later, William? Sure, you have your handsome mug there, that’s a good thing, but your readers want to know about you, who you are, what you do, the focus of your blog–I guess you wouldn’t want to say, “to plug resell rights” so maybe you have the right idea. But take the picture off. Why would we want to look at you if we don’t know anything about you? Or for that matter, concerning one of your record breaking short posts, who really wants to know what the temperature is if we don’t know where you are?

In conclusion, William, I see that you are new to blogging, so if I have been too harsh please forgive me. Just remember, you want your readers to come back, to pass on the link to your blog to others, to get excited about the wealth of information you offer or the interesting things you have to say. Good luck to you with your blogging future!
