Some Thoughts on Decorating
I haven’t talked about decorating here in a long time and decided tonight was the right time to do so. I am feeling very grateful to be alive, stronger everyday after a few weeks of meltdown and burnout, that’s why I have been gone from blogging for so long. But I am back, thanks to the grace of God.
Now, on to some thoughts on decorating. First of all, it is easy to make your home comfortable and tasteful without spending a bunch of money. One way to do this is to keep it simple but elegant. Don’t clutter. It messes up your karma, I am sure of that. Clutter of the home to me equals clutter of the mind and soul.
A great way to make your living room tasteful is to place magazines in a basket. Another way to make you feel you are living abundantly is to place a bunch of toilet paper rolls in a basket in your bathroom. My sister also rolls up wash cloths and has them in a basket. You can get all of this stuff on the cheap at any dollar store, and magazines are easy to get free.
These are just a few things that can offer you comfort and make your home truly your castle.

I love these tips. Really I have found if you can make one or two rooms of your home feel like a getaway type room then you tend to enjoy being in those rooms more.
I really love the toilet roll idea. I will have to use that one.
