Great Big Stuff

You are going to love this site, www.GreatBigStuff.com! Their business is making oversized items, like the cool pencil that kid is holding in the picture above, for instance. GreatBigStuff.com products have become really popular. TV shows such as The Ellen Degeneres Show and Extreme Makeover: Home Edition with Ty Pennington use Great Big Stuff in the props and décor. I think this is one of the coolest ideas I have ever seen, especially since nowadays everything is supposed to be better when it’s smaller, like cell phones and CD players. But I like the idea of stuff being BIG! What fun!

Check this site out for sure. You will have a blast just looking at all the stuff you can make BIG!

Scrumptious Mac-n-Cheese

This is great during these cold winter days. But be forewarned, it is rich!

1 8 ounce package macaroni noodles
1 teaspoon shortening
2 cups grated Cheddar cheese
1 cup Cheese Whiz
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup half-n-half
1 stick of butter
2 eggs, beaten
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
1/2 teaspoon ground mustard
salt and pepper to taste
Boil macaroni adding shortening to water. Do not overcook. Drain and combine macaroni will all other ingredients, reserving 1/4 Cheddar cheese. Bake uncovered in ungreased 9 x 12 inch casserole dish for 25 to 30 minutes. Remove from oven and top with reserved cheese. Return to oven to melt.

Christian Faith Financial

I do not recommend getting payday loans unless it is absolutely necessary. However, sometimes it is just that, necessary. So if you are finding yourself in a financial bind you just can’t find your way out of, why not do business with a financial organization that is Christian based? My first thought, as a believer, is that you would find people there you can trust. The site certainly appears trustworthy.

Is Being Frugal Entertainment?

I found this great post at Frugal Hacks that I just had to share with you. This beginning of the post drew me in and made me smile. “Once upon a time, there was a beautiful princess who lived in a very modest home filled with beautiful things. Many of the things in her home were given to her, found in random dumpsters, or were purchased for only $1. They were modest things, but she had a knack for making her home look good. She knew how to make everything in the world so she hardly ever visited a store. Her house was filled with things that people only believed that they could buy. Her life was grand, but budget-friendly. Her husband, a true prince, went along with all of her frugal whims & wishes, while her children cheered when the princess was able to pocket money towards their education because she was so very frugal. Yes, the princess lived a life far away from the Wicked Credit Card and she embraced tangible things that she could hold like dollars, quarters, and children. Her life was full and fruitful and her family lived a happy life forever and ever. Amen.”

I really can relate to this. I enjoy being frugal, it makes me feel, I don’t know, virtuous? Yeah, that’s the word. Virtuous.
